Amana Living Aged Care Facility – Kinross
The recent completion of Amana Living Age Care Facility involved extensive demolition to transform the existing facility and build a new, ‘state-of-the-art’ structure spanning three floors.
The ground floor consists of a functional and well-appointed space which includes an under-croft carpark for convenience, an industrial kitchen, laundry facility for efficient operations, a reception area, day club facilities and a versatile multipurpose room for various activities and gatherings.
The lower ground level contains fire tanks equipped with booster pumps which provides a reliable source of water with improved water pressure, bolstering the facility’s fire safety measures.
The upper floors offer a total of 96 well-appointed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, ensuring both comfort and privacy for the residents.
Each floor has its own dining area with impressive outside breakout areas, that encourage socialization and relaxation.
Nurse call stations are strategically placed for immediate assistance, while amenities like a hair salon, physiotherapy rooms, and private dining areas contribute to residents’ well-being and quality of life.
The roof level has a dedicated plant room which houses all the mechanical and hydraulic equipment, ensuring seamless facility operation and maintenance.
The works included extensive external works, featuring carefully landscaped gardens with meandering walkways. These outdoor spaces are designed to offer residents a peaceful and therapeutic connection to nature.
Architectural cladding in combination with face brick, aluminium doors and windows were used externally, with high-end finishes internally, creating an inviting atmosphere for residents.
The completion of the Amana Living Age Care Dementia Facility stands as a testament to our dedication to excellence in construction and senior care, delivering a facility that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of our client.
